They have a fabulous fun feathery leaf shape that will definitely convince everyone you are indeed a gourmet chef J The red greens are crisp, mild, & slightly peppery. They are not as spicy as other mustards or even arugula. Enjoy Mizuna raw in salads or cooked like spinach, in soups & stir fries, or pickled. This mustard is fast growing, & baby leaves are ready for harvest in just a few weeks. This cut & come again green offers both a high yield & a long production time. They are not picky about soil, & are very heat tolerant. The compact plants with numerous thin stalks are great for containers. Red Streaked Mizuna Mustard can be planted as a spring or fall crop.
