It is an authentic dish of a worldwide known Southeast European cuisine where it is traditionally prepared for centuries. The best ajvar has always been recognized as the ultimate gastronomic delight across and outside of the Southeast European region which also confirms the fact that its name originates from Turkish word for caviar - havyar and is pronounced I-var. This gourmet specialty is rich in flavors, made of completely natural ingredients! It is prepared from only four ingredients: traditionally roasted red peppers, sunflower oil, salt and a dash of vinegar. Why does it taste so good? We use approximately 26 peppers for a single jar!
